I'm not clinically depressed the way you think about depression, but I am depressed in my version in my personal truth. I miss weightlifting so much and being compromised with my foot and my shoulder and my knee and my elbow and all the things that come with aging is just wearing on me.
.
I have 39 days until foot surgery and my PT @megangrecodpt gave me a great plan to get my mind right between now and then. Instead of using dumbbells, which is really hard for me right now, I'm going to be strength training on my cable machine. Tonight's workout was amazing and just in the last hour my mind has shifted and I feel so much more positive.
.
I am really looking forward to the first quarter of 2023 and all of the rehab that comes with it. This next softball season is going to be off the chain. 39 more days uphill and then it's all downhill from there.
